Happy New Year!
The purpose of this blog is just to write down my own thoughts. Future me will both appreciate and probably feel embarassed about what they’ve written down, but that’s okay. I want to put myself out there more, and this is just a step in that direction. I’ve already done a lot of embarassing things anyways, so what’s new? Tempted to write some movie reviews on this site. Might as well embrace being a snob.
It’s been an “interesting” two years for me, though it’s gone way too quickly for my own comfort. I’d consider the past year to be a transitional period for me. I graduated college, got a job, and moved far away from my hometown. It sounds like a lot, and it is, but it has also felt “anti-climatic”? Haven’t really felt like I’ve been in the present for the past year and a half, but that’ll hopefully change soon. Starting from scratch hasn’t been the most pleasant thing I’ve done, but the upside is that I’m pretty much free to do what I want now. I’ve began by starting my own art account and learning how to animate since I’ve been out of school, so I got some things to work towards. I’m in a pretty stable albeit mundane place right now. Sometimes a boring period in life is nice as I don’t have to deal with any drama or volatility.
Not much else to say. Just an introduction post. Hope whoever is reading this is having a good start to their year.
